Getting to Know Dr. Liew... Dr. Sook-Lei Liew is an Associate Professor, Director of the Neural Plasticity and Neurorehabilitation Laboratory, Chair of the ENIGMA Stroke Recovery working group, and PI of the ReproRehab Educational Program. Dr. Liew has joint appointments in the divisions of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy, Biomedical Engineering, and Neurology and is affiliated with the USC Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute at the University of Southern California. Dr. Liew's current research is on stroke neurorehabilitation, using big data brain imaging, brain computer interfaces, noninvasive brain stimulation and virtual reality to develop more effective, personalized treatments for individuals with stroke. |
