Getting to Know Dr. Lohse...

Dr. Keith Lohse is a passionate educator and neurorehabilitation researcher. He has a joint-PhD in cognitive science, psychology, and neuroscience from the University of Colorado. He is also accredited as a professional statistician (PStat) by the American Statistical Association. His background is in statistically modeling the processes of human learning.

Dr. Lohse's current research, he applies similar models to the mechanisms underlying rehabilitation and neural repair. Ultimately, he wants to help create more efficient, individualized rehabilitation practices and improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Q: What is your favorite book?
A: 'Last Chance to See' by Douglas Adams.

Q: What do you do to keep fit?
A: It is seasonal, but I like trail running, lifting weights, and paddle boarding.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your career?
A: I enjoy working in a diverse team of energetic people. Everyone brings something to the table, where we are able to pull together solutions to tackle big problems.
