Kenneth Viste, Jr., MD Memorial Lectureship

Kenneth M. Viste, Jr., MD, was a tireless advocate for neurorehabilitation & ASNR. Dr. Viste was active in the organization since its inception as President, Membership Committee Chair, & a member of the Practice Issues Committee. ASNR honored his memory by presenting the Kenneth Viste, Jr., MD Memorial Lectureship Award annually to an individual who supported the mission & vision of ASNR over the course of his or her career, by supporting neurorehabilitation as a field, engaging in clinical & educational work, & making our medical peers aware of the importance of neurorehabilitation.

This award was merged with the Outstanding Neurorehabilitation Clinician-Scientist (ONCS) Award in the fall of 2025 to create the Visionary Innovator in Science, Translation, and Education (V.I.S.T.E.) Award.
